COTAP                                                  (vii) other matters relevant to the professional
            (a)   advises the Government on –                         development of the teaching profession
                                                                      which the Government may refer to;
                (i)  the planning and feedback on initial teacher
                   education programmes;                       (b)  in support of (a) above, with respect to

                (ii)  the  planning,  implementation  and          frameworks agreed with the EDB,
                   evaluation of professional development          (i)  commissions and/or conducts educational
                   programmes for the teaching profession to          research and evaluation studies to facilitate
                   meet present and forecast needs, as well as        the formulation  of policies and measures

                   expectations of both the education sector          on the professional development of the
                   and the community at large;                        teaching profession;

                (iii)  the  professional  competencies  and        (ii)  commissions and/or conducts training
                   qualifications (including those acquired
