World Voice Hong Kong Second Year Programme Information Session

World Voice Hong Kong Second Year Programme – Information Session

World Voice is a teacher-training programme, developed by the British Council, which trains primary school teachers to use singing as a pedagogical tool to enhance the learning of children with diverse educational needs in a wide range of subjects. World Voice is aimed at teachers who have no musical training and the ability to sing is not a requirement.

Last year, British Council successfully ran a pilot of the World Voice programme in Hong Kong with the support of the Swire Trust. Eight local primary schools from Tuen Mun, Tin Shu Wai and Sham Shui Po were recruited, and 15 classes from Primary 1 – Primary 3 with 360+ students and 20+ principals and teachers were involved.

Renewed support from the Swire Trust has enabled the World Voice Hong Kong programme to run for a second year starting this autumn 2016.

Now, primary school teachers are cordially invited to join the information session for World Voice Hong Kong – Second Year Programme on Tuesday, 12 July 2016 at 10:00am. Please see attachment for details. We hope you can join and hear how this innovative programme can help you and your students.
