Committee on Professional Development of Teachers and Principals

The "T-applause" Tour for teachers (hereafter referred to as "The Tour") is one of the initiatives under "T-applause", an area of focus under T-excel@hk of COTAP. The Tour aims to commend the teaching professionals who have demonstrated commitment and made contribution to the work of Education Bureau (EDB) relating to teachers' continuing professional development.

Participants of the 2016/17 Tour were serving teachers at local primary, secondary and special schools (including Government, Aided, Direct Subsidy Scheme and CAPUT schools). The 5-day Tour, fully sponsored by EDB and Quality Education Fund, included visits to primary school, secondary school, university, enterprise, scenic spots and cultural sites.
